The Alproof Tour 36+5 SL by DEUTER for women is for anyone looking for a ski touring backpack with the very best airbag technology and flexible gear packing options for ski traverses and extended ski tours.
The waist belt, height- and width-adjustable sternum strap and leg safety strap all work together to prevent the backpack from being ripped off during an avalanche. The leg strap is simply clipped in without having to undo the waist belt.
The updated Alpride E2 avalanche airbag uses the latest supercapacitor technology and is one of the lightest fully electronic airbag systems on the market. It is also unaffected by low temperatures. In addition to fast, high-pressure airbag deployment, this proven technology has huge advantages when it comes to maintenance and transport compared to traditional cartridge-powered systems. An LED display and release valve on the outside of the pack gives it good handling and makes it easy to monitor system status. Deployment is also extremely intuitive.
The roll-top extension adds an extra 5 liters’ capacity when needed, with stowable gear straps that serve to compress the load or keep a climbing rope securely attached. The roll-top also serves as secondary access to the main compartment. The zipper layout keeps the pack's shape in such a way that airbag deployment and range of head movement are not impaired by the extra volume.
