The Alpine Start Hoody by BLACK DIAMOND for women is a pared-down protective layer, designed to shield the minimalist climber against ridgeline gusts and intermittent precipitation.
The ultra-packable design incorporates a self-stowing chest pocket for easy storage on your harness or in your pack. Ultralight and incredibly versatile, the Alpine Start Hoody by BLACK DIAMOND uses Schoeller stretch-woven softshell fabric to provide highly breathable, weather resistant protection for alpinists and other weight-conscious climbers.
Gusseted construction allows complete freedom of movement, and the hood fits over your climbing helmet for added weather protection when the wind picks up in the afternoon. This highly packable jacket by BLACK DIAMOND stows in its own chest pocket when not in use, and a carabiner loop lets you clip it to your harness and take it up a route.

Because of the relatively small factory inventories at outdoor clothing collections, we can not guarantee for constant availability of all parts of our online collection. You can contact us via email or phone before your order to ask us about the current availability. In case of delivery delays we will inform you via e-mail, fax or telephone. For bulky goods we calculate the actual costs as surcharge fee for each product. As an example bulky goods are: Ski (with a length of more than 160 cm), bicycles, mountain bikes, and volume elements for climbing walls. Bulky goods can be recognized by an additional labeling in the product selection, indicating a shipping rate in the prefix, which will be added as an additional charge for the product in the cart. You never pay more than indicated in your shopping cart. Partial delivery causes no additional costs within EU countries and Switzerland; please enter a phone number where you are reachable during the day.
Orders are shipped only when all previous deliveries already have been paid.
