Product description for Alpina RAVEL, Black Matt Helmets Unisex
The Ravel by ALPINA loves gravel. The dynamic bars indicate the direction of travel: It goes forward. And when the going gets fast, the gaps ensure good ventilation.
If the gravel track is rough, the helmet should fit perfectly. The Ravel's height-adjustable run system guarantees that. In addition, the Gravel helmet is safe, light and comfortable to wear thanks to the Inmold-Tec fabrication.
An antibacterial interior ensures that it stays that way. Optionally, the Ravel can be equipped with a flash light (not included in the scope of delivery). The Ravel by ALPINA is "Made in Germany".

- Ceramic Shell: All ALPINA helmets manufactured using the inmold process are fitted with a robust ceramic shell. A polycarbonate plate is stretched under intense heat onto the shape of the helmet in the making and pressed onto the Hi-EPS body under high pressure and thermally bonded to it. The Ceramic shell is characterized by several qualities: It is impact- and scratch-resistant, UV-stable and antistatic
- Hi-EPS: The inner shell is made of Hi-EPS (High Expanded Polystyrene). The material has microscopically small air chambers that absorb the forces acting on the helmet in the event of an impact. Hi-EPS provides optimum protection and at the same time allows for extra-thin helmet wall as well as narrow helmet shapes
- Inmold: In the inmould production process, the polycarbonate upper shell is thermally bonded to the Hi-EPS inner shell of the helmet body under intense heat and pressure. This creates a large and inseparable connection between the upper and lower shell. Advantage: The helmet is very light and at the same time extremely stable
- Run System Ergo+: The Run System enables to adjust to a custom size by using an easy-to-move dial. The valuable Run System Ergo+ has two large wing-shaped head supports that make it comfortable to wear. The difference from the Run System Ergo Pro: the head supports do not have rubber coating

Shipping overseas takes around 2-3 weeks with standard service. The delivery times to other countries will be indicated individually.
Because of the relatively small factory inventories at outdoor clothing collections, we can not guarantee for constant availability of all parts of our online collection. You can contact us via email or phone before your order to ask us about the current availability. In case of delivery delays we will inform you via e-mail, fax or telephone. Shipments to mailboxes are not possible.

For bulky goods we calculate the actual costs as surcharge fee for each product. As an example bulky goods are: Ski (with a length of more than 160 cm), bicycles, mountain bikes, and volume elements for climbing walls. Bulky goods can be recognized by an additional labeling in the product selection, indicating a shipping rate in the prefix, which will be added as an additional charge for the product in the cart. You never pay more than indicated in your shopping cart. Partial delivery causes no additional costs within EU countries and Switzerland; please enter a phone number where you are reachable during the day.
Orders are shipped only when all previous deliveries already have been paid.
