Robust, no-nonsense protection for cold, soaking wet conditions. The W Insulated Torrentshell Jacket by PATAGONIA for women is an H2No Performance Standard 2-layer nylon waterproof breathable hard shell insulated with ThermoGreen® Insulation.

Sometimes rain is cold and sometimes it’s bone-soaking cold. The W Insulated Torrentshell Jacket by PATAGONIA is made for days of sideways precipitation and uncivilized temps. A 2-layer H2No Performance Standard waterproof breathable nylon ripstop shell keeps the water out and ThermoGreen® insulation keeps your heat in.

The interior quilt pattern on the waterproof winter jacket holds the insulation in place for durability, and the fully adjustable hood has a laminated visor (doubles as a rain spout). Coated, watertight zippers close the center-front and all exterior pockets (exterior: two handwarmers, one chest; interior: one zippered and one drop-in).

Moreover, the W Insulated Torrentshell Jacket by PATAGONIA is equipped with hook-and-loop cuffs and a dual-adjust drawcord hem seal-out the elements.

Weatherproof

2-layer H2No® Performance Standard shell fabrics are completely waterproof, windproof and breathable.

Designed for a wide range of uses, from backpacking to snowboarding, 2-layer H2No® Performance Standard shell fabrics utilize a taffeta or mesh lining rather than a bonded scrim to protect the waterproof/breathable barrier. The lining increases the garments wicking ability, durability and next-to-skin comfort.

2-layer H2No® Performance Standard shell fabrics are coated with DWR (durable water repellent) fabric finish that repels light rain and snow. In conjunction with a waterproof/breathable barrier, the DWR finish keeps the outer fabric from becoming saturated so that the breathable barrier can do its job.

All products bearing the H2No mark have been vigorously tested for durability in the Killer Wash.
