The AuerhahnM. Jacket by MALOJA is an elastic and quick drying jacket for multiple purposes made from XFast Gore-Tex® Infinium™ material.

The jacket features Windstopper® XFast inserts in the front, shoulder and back for high insulation and optimum moisture transport. Small valuables can also be safely stowed away in the invisible breast pocket. A mesh insert in the back area of the AuerhahnM. jacket by MALOJA and the hood with elastic edging provide more freedom of movement and greater wearing comfort.

That was the title of the first MALOJA collection in 2004 and now forms the annual theme for the 17th collection in 2021. This phrase has accompanied MALOJA for over 15 years - it has become the slogan and the guiding principle of their actions.

For "Soul in the Woods", MALOJA has intensively studied forests and the life together there. On closer inspection, the theme tells of the "soul" of the forests and of the cooperation, solidarity and wisdom of the trees, their finely interwoven social system and a world in which the individual potential of each contributes to the well-being of all.

A vivid community is more relevant than ever in 2021. Perhaps we should take the "soul" of the forests as an example: sticking together, standing up for each other, growing together.

• XFast Gore-Tex® Infinium™: Gore-Tex® Infinium™ Windstopper® garments are durably windproof, water resistant, and highly breathable. This combination of protection and breathability minimises the wind’s chilling effect while reducing the risk of overheating when you are active. A durable water-repellent (DWR) fabric treatment is often employed to provide additional water repellency.
• Thermal Stretch ECO: Thermal Stretch ECO is a 4-way stretch material made from recycled nylon and recycled Spandex developed with ski touring, cross-country skiing and cycling first of mind. Thermal Stretch ECO delivers superior breathability, and is pilling and abrasion resistant. The structured inner surface provides insulation and quick moisture transport to the outer surface.
• 4 Way Stretch: This fabric offers cross and lengthwise stretchability and thus provides perfect freedom of movement.
• Basic Insulation: MALOJA distinguishes between different insulation levels. Basic, premium and supreme insulation. The right insulation for the different temperatures is always depending on the application area and the intensity of the activity.
• Supreme Breathability: No matter how hard you play – this garment provides optimal moisture transport. The extremely breathable fabric and additional ventilation openings guarantee optimal body climate. The MVT rate of this garment is not less than 15.000g/m²/24h.
• 3 Layer: The outer material, functional membrane and lining are bonded to a stable 3-Layer construction. This material can cope with professional and uncompromising claim. The membrane used offers very good breathability and waterproofness.
• Durable Water Repellent Eco: The outer material has a durable water and dirt repellent finish that allows rain and snow to roll of. The outer surface of the clothing is less sensitive against dirt and the breathability is not affected. All treatments used by MALOJA are #H01® #B04 and fulfill all necessary requirements regarding sustainability.
• Partially Windproof: The windblock/windstopper front avoids the Chill Effect (airstream) that can lower body temperature.
• Laser Vents: The garment implores precisely lasered ventilation perforations. Laser Vents are used on areas of the body where increased breathability is needed.
• Hem adjustment: The waistband can be individually adjusted by inner cord stopper in the hem.

• Reflective Print: This product has a reflective print for increased visibility in the dark.
• Stormhood: Ergonomic formed, tight stormhood stormy days.
